Quanita Joseph is a speaker, educator, and founder specializing in structured literacy, dyslexia intervention, and scalable reading systems.
For more than 14 years, I have worked across multiple levels of education, as a classroom teacher, dyslexia interventionist, instructional coach, educator trainer, and now founder of Stellarwise Learning, a virtual structured literacy program that has served students across 42+ states.
My work began in the classroom, where I saw students receive tutoring, additional practice, and intervention without anyone identifying the specific reading skills they had not yet mastered. Too often, children were described simply as "behind," while gaps in decoding, fluency, vocabulary, or comprehension went undetected and unaddressed.
That experience led me deeper into the science of reading, structured literacy, and data-driven intervention. I later trained and coached 2,700+ educators in using student data to design stronger Tier 2 and Tier 3 instructional systems. My educator-development work reached teachers in several countries and extended across literacy, math, science, and social studies, strengthening my understanding of how effective instructional systems are built and sustained.
Today, I bring those experiences together through Stellarwise Learning, where we identify the precise skills holding students back and provide targeted instruction designed to create measurable reading growth.
My work is grounded in structured literacy and the Science of Reading, because every student deserves access to evidence-based practices and the best possible chance to succeed. At the center of everything I do is a simple belief: children make meaningful progress when we stop giving them more of the same and start giving them the instruction they actually need.
Session and workshop topics I bring to conferences, districts, and staff PD, all grounded in the same evidence-based approach.
A hands-on session on structured literacy and best practices for the Science of Reading that educators can use immediately with students with dyslexia and reading gaps.
How to design and scale a literacy program, drawn from building Stellarwise's K-8 model into a system used across 42+ states.
Turning student data into targeted small-group instruction, drawn from coaching 2,700+ educators internationally across literacy, math, science, and social studies.
A practical session on using AI to interpret reading data, plan intervention, and create differentiated practice, while keeping instructional decisions grounded in teacher expertise.
A step-by-step session on reading the data, building Tier 2 groups, teaching the targeted lessons, and rotating groups so every student gets support in class.

I speak on structured literacy, dyslexia intervention, and how to scale reading programs that actually move outcomes.

KeynoteFeedback from teachers, interventionists, and school leaders after coaching sessions and conference talks.
"The support I got on how to run small groups for reading was exactly what I needed. If I'd received this training sooner, I never would have left the classroom. This is the exact type of coaching teachers need."
"Honestly, I was upset when I was told I had to work with a coach after five years of teaching. I was so burnt out that this was going to be my last year. But I'm glad I did it, because I learned things that actually helped. Now that I have real strategies and support, I'm staying in the classroom."
"I finally have a specific routine for small groups, and it's yielded great results, every child gets what they actually need. I've also learned how to better manage relationships with parents and students, so I'm not spending all my energy worrying about behavior anymore."
"I used to sit through data meetings without really knowing how to use what I was looking at. This training showed me how to actually use my data, and gave me concrete next steps I could take straight back into my classroom."
"I was hesitant to use AI at first. But something Quanita said stuck with me: AI is artificial intelligence, but teachers are the original intelligence. It's cut my planning time in half."
"I didn't realize just how much my teachers didn't actually know about using data until I sat through this session at HAABSE. Everything Quanita presented lined up directly with the latest research, and I left feeling confident about implementing it."
of 2,500+ students grew at least one full grade level in reading within 12 weeks. Behind every number is a student who was told they were behind, and a family who didn't know where to turn. Stellarwise exists to change that story, one student at a time.
